Loud/Close

I’ve been reading Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close for quite some time now. I haven’t even finished the book yet. I just find it so tiring to get through. And I desperately want to like the main character, Oskar, but I just can’t. I find him annoying and a bit of a know-it-all. It just gets really draggy at some parts. I know many have enjoyed both the book and film and I DO want to like it so much but ughh. But I will try to finish it and maybe I’ll like it towards the end. I don’t know. Hopefully. 

I get sad and frustrated when I don’t enjoy the book I’m currently reading :(

the last few days in snapshots

Baked cupcakes with my brother. We did peanut butter cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes both with chocolate butter cream frosting. The first batch was barely edible. In fact, they’re still untouched in my fridge now. But we tweaked the recipe and they turned out ohmygod so yummy. 

Camped out at Starbucks doing work for freedom in frocks. We have so many to do and many more frocks to show u :D Excited!!!

Dinner, good music and amazing company altogether. Now it’s back to reality and work and I’m dreading it. Ugh.

Real life does suck sometimes.
